Capstone Project
For my final capstone project at UTD we developed a novel design for a metal detector. The goal was to detect a possible weapon entering a building while being discrete as well.
Due to a the NDA not much can be disclosed about the design.

My responsibilities during the team:
- Team leader for the project.
- Developed the metal detection design concept with the team.
- Completed the layout of the 3 PCB design iterations.
- Soldered all 3 PCB iterations and helped test the firmware and the Bluetooth communication.
- CAD model for the enclosure using Fusion360, and 3D printing the enclosure.
Some general specifications from the final PCB tested:
- 2 channel detection capable.
- 3rd party battery bank capable enough to power the device for up to a day.
- LED indicators for metal detection.
